About the event

On occasion of the 52nd session of the UNAIDS Programme Coordinating Board (PCB) in June 2023, the PEPFAR – UNAIDS Faith Initiative is pleased to host the side event which will mark the Launch of the Compendium of Promising Practices on the role of African faith community interventions to end paediatric and adolescent HIV.

During this session, we will delve into the remarkable journey of faith-based organizations in Africa and their incredible contribution to the fight against pediatric and adolescent HIV. Faith has always been a powerful force, bringing hope, compassion, and healing to countless lives. It is through this steadfast commitment to their communities that faith-based organizations have played a pivotal role in addressing the unique challenges faced by children and adolescents affected by HIV.

The Compendium of promising practices showcases the transformative impact of faith-based approaches, highlighting innovative strategies, programs, and interventions that have saved lives…
